Assistant Paymaster Francis Reginald Emson was Born on 5th July 1882. He was one of the first accountants to enter the Royal Naval Reserves under the Order in Council of March 1904 and was promoted to Assistant Paymaster in July 1904. He was serving on H.M.S. "Clan Macnaughton," which was lost at sea with no survivors in February 1915. He left a widow.
